1. Livingstone Festival (Arts festival): 

Livingstone festival which is also known as the arts festival. This festival is one of the biggest and most famous festivals of Zambia. On this festival people perform in the Colonial city, decorate her home and streets with lights, they perform theatrical troupes, singing, dancing and the most beautiful thing is, tourists from all over make this festival a good one.

2. Likumbi Lya Mize:

Likumbi Lya mize in this festival, a boy of about 10 years of age is taught the rituals of their tradition, this 4- days festival takes place on both sides of the Zambezi river. Markets selling baskets, clothes, metal work, and carvings are closed on this day. In which a handmade mask is painted and worn by him, people play drums and dance. This is celebrated a few days before the end of august. The festival culminates with the Royal Makishi Parade which makes it even more spectacular. 

3. Chakwela mukumbi : The Ceremony of the Soli People

Chawala Mukumbi which means “pulling the clouds", this festival is celebrated every year by the Soli people. With this the people here pray to their elders and God after harvesting their crops and for the next crop, which includes traditional songs, dance and playing the dhol and calling them with their inner voice. The traditional craftsmanship and display of rituals which are done as per their customs are all done in this festival, reflecting the Soli people's cultural identity and heritage.
